You Carried Us From
January to December
You carried us from January to December, God. Thank You for every single day in between—the ones we remember clearly and the ones we barely survived. Thank You for being present in every season, every shift, every unexpected turn. We didn't make it here by luck or by strength alone. We made it here because You carried us.
You carried us through beginnings filled with hope and endings filled with relief. Through plans that worked out and plans that fell apart. Through moments of confidence and moments of deep uncertainty. When we were strong, You walked beside us. When we were weak, You carried us completely. When we didn't even realize how close we were to giving up, You were already holding us together.
Thank You for carrying us through prayers that were answered quickly and prayers that required patience. Through nights we cried ourselves to sleep and mornings we woke up unsure how to keep going. Through joy that felt undeserved and pain that felt unfair. Through lessons we didn't ask for but needed. Through growth that hurt before it healed.
Thank You for carrying us when we doubted ourselves, when our faith felt quiet, when our strength felt gone. Thank You for not abandoning us when we questioned, struggled, or fell short. You never left. Not once. Even when we didn't feel You, You were there—steady, faithful, unchanging.
You carried us through sickness and healing, fear and courage, loss and restoration. You carried us through closed doors that protected us and open doors that surprised us. You carried us through people who stayed and people who left. Through moments that shaped us in ways we didn't understand at the time.
Thank You for carrying us even when we complained instead of praised, worried instead of trusted, and rushed instead of waited. Thank You for Your patience with us. Thank You for Your mercy that renewed us again and again. Thank You for grace that covered us on our worst days, not just our best ones.
As we stand here now—at the end of this chapter—we acknowledge this truth with humility and gratitude: we are still here because of You. Our lives are proof of Your faithfulness. Our survival is evidence of Your care. Our growth is a testimony to Your guidance.
You carried us from January to December, God. And we trust You to carry us forward too.
Thank You—for everything seen and unseen,
understood and misunderstood, painful and beautiful.
Thank You for being our constant
when everything else changed.
All glory, all gratitude, all praise—belongs to You.
